Severe Cold Weather:
Connecticut is expected to receive unusually cold weather through Sunday, January 4th. The state’s Severe Cold Weather Protocol will be in effect beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025, and remaining in effect until noon on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Anyone in need of shelter or a warming center is urged to visit 211ct.org or call 2-1-1 to find available locations. Transportation can be provided if necessary.
HOLIDAY CLOSURE NOTICE:
Please be advised, the Quinnipiack Valley Health District (QVHD) will be CLOSED on Thursday, January 1st in observance of New Year’s Day.
QVHD will reopen Friday, January 2nd at 8:30 AM.
