RESTAURANTS & OTHER FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS

QVHD is responsible for reducing the risk of foodborne disease by ensuring reasonable protection from contaminated food and improving the sanitary condition of food establishments (restaurants, caterers, food stores, etc.), including temporary food events.

This is accomplished by the licensing and inspection of over 500 food service establishments, enforcement of regulations, education, special investigations, and food safety promotion.
