RESOURCES

Subsurface Sewage Disposal (Septic)

QVHD regulates the installation of subsurface sewage disposal systems. This includes site inspections, plan review, the issuing of permits and inspections of all new, repair and replacement systems.

Permits must be obtained from QVHD, by a Connecticut licensed subsurface sewage contractor, to do work on a septic system, including, but not limited to, new installation, repair, replacement and relocation.
