About QVHD
Our Goal at the Quinnipiack Valley Health District is to:
- Provide legally mandated services,
- Enforce the Connecticut
Public Health Code and regulations, statutes, ordinances, and
- Conduct programs
which promote public health.
QVHD is organized under chapter 368f f of the Connecticut General Statutes.
The organized, interdisciplinary efforts
that address the physical, mental & environmental health concerns of
communities and populations at risk for health and injury.
